This collaboration is based on building networks to design and realize measures regarding the responsive use of energy at home, at school and at our own work places. The aim is to create synergies among local authorities, teachers, local stakeholders, students and their parents, in order to reflect on consumer habits and to learn from the experience of using energy differently as well as analysing the results of the experience and making a commitment to change our habitual lifestyle.


The most important issues for the sustainability of the collaboration were the following:

  1. diverse but not formal networks, based on dialogue and good relations among the people: a) three schools networks, b) two networks between schools and parents,  c) one local institution network, d) one network among schools, local institutions and firms
  2. an efficient project board and an operative coordinating team to be set up and guaranteed permanent bridges of communication
  3. the care and support of the participants.
